Green ship of the future
Towards zero, together
We are a group of partners, who explore the road towards zero emission maritime transportation, the short and long term solutions and the necessary stepping stones between today, 2030, 2050 and beyond. We believe that collaboration across the maritime value chain is part of the solution, so join us, today and be part of the journey towards zero.
What we do
We explore the road towards a future where the shipping industry has zero negative impact on the climate and environment.
We do so by exploring our impact on the world and the technology and innovation enabled potential solutions through cross-industry collaboration. We contantly seek an answer to; “what a `green ship’ is”, as our understanding of our negative affect our industry has on the environment and climate evolves. This enables a more holisticly understanding of our challenges, the oppotunities and the externalities involved.
We are an independent, member driven and controled organization. GSF brings together central stakeholder to the maritime industry and act as a platform for collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and innovation where the differnt actors can come together with a shared goal.
Our interests
At the core of what we do is knowledge sharing. We facilitate knowledge sharing by thematically dealing with a broad range of topics, including but now limited to; future fuels and energy vectors, energy efficient ship design and technology, 3D print, digitization, AI and circular economy. We aim to leave no stone unturned and take no sides. The interests show here are not an exhaustive list, nor is it a representation of what we belive in. These are simply an exhibit of areas and topics we have explored on our road to better understanding the challenges we deal with and the potential solutions to them.
